A Snapz Open Air Booth was set up at the spectacular Spirit of the Saints Gale at Mystic Lake Casino on October 4. Users posed in front of a backdrop and uploaded their images to social media using the Snapz unique social media uploading technology.
The Spirit of the Saints Gala raised $201,000 to support programs providing integrative health therapies at St. Francis and St. Gertrude’s. Integrative health empowers individuals and residents to heal better, reduce stress and anxiety, and in general improve their health and wellness through a holistic approach that focuses on the whole person—mind, body and spirit.

On October 4, a Snapz Open Air Booth was set up at the 3rd Annual Party It Forward Event at the Crowne Plaza in St Paul.
1500 people attended the Free event hosted by Mike and Lori Dalglish, who originated the idea to celebrate their 40th birthdays while supporting an organization dear to their hearts. DARTS helped Lori with transportation services during her recovery from a serious car accident.

A beautifully branded, traditional Snapz Photo Booth was set up at the AHIMA convention at the San Diego Convention Center from September 28 until October 1.
Booth use was non stop throughout the event. With large crowd events it is important that an activation be quick and easy to use. Snapz 9 second printouts ensure that no one has to wait long to use a machine.

Fashionopolis hosted by Minneapolis /St Paul Magazine at Aria featured a Snapz photo activation where users posed in front of a backdrop. A magazine overlay made the photos look like cover shots!

On September 6, a Best Buy sponsored Snapz open air booth was set up at the high profile Human Rights Campaign Dinner at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Users posed in front of a Best Buy step and repeat and were able to upload their images to social media using the unique Snapz Photo Booth uploading technology.
All proceeds from the dinner support Human Rights Campaign efforts to end discrimination against GLBT people and their families.
Dinner sponsors included Best Buy, Target, United Health Care Group, 3M, Medtronic, St Jude Medical, and Cargill among just a few.

Two Snapz booths were hired by INK Entertainment for big summer bashes at the Cabana Bar in Toronto on August 16th and 17th. Cabana is an outdoor club that accommodates 2500 people. It’s a very “Miami” setting with huge pool ,white tables and umbrellas, chaise loungers and all-white (surprise!) cabanas. Beautiful people in their best beach attire enjoy fantastic cocktails and Oliver and Bonacini food service. Needless to say that it is the IT place for Toronto summer parties.

A branded Snapz traditional booth was at the JWT Worldwide Summer Sailor Scuttle on August 14 at Skybar in Toronto. Our new “stair” booth which was created especially for difficult to access venues was brought up 4 flights of stairs as Skybar has no elevator. This is no easy feat for a 450 pound machine. The “stair” booth weighs the same but is easily broken apart and reassembled and is brought up and down stairs in 3 separate parts. Set up is still about 7 minutes once the booth reaches its final destination.
The Snapz custom build team headed by Greg Jansen spent the months of June and July designing and building a custom photo booth booth for Toronto hotel visionary Jeff Stober’s Drake Hotel Devonshire located in Prince Edward County, Ontario. The booth which is built on 1950s specs provided by Stober’s design team runs on the latest technology and offers instant image uploading social media platforms. This is the second Snapz custom build booth commissioned by Jeff Stober. The first is located in the Drake One Fifty Restaurant in Toronto
